Agave Jumping Spiderling Captive Bred

$ 26.99

Description The Paraphidippus basalis Agave Jumping Spider is a large species that rivals regal jumping spiders in size as adults, but lives among agaves and similarly shaped plants in the Arizona Sky Islands. As they grow, a deep yellow-orange to red-orange band develops on their abdomen. They also have white speckles on their abdomens. This is a fast species compared with regals and other commonly available jumping spiders. Probably our favorite jumping spider species! They are inquisitive and less likely to hide. The available spiderlings were born on 3/26/26 and have reached 4th to 5th instar. Limit 1 per person until more molt out and can be listed in greater numbers. They are currently feeding on D. hydei fruit flies. Some food and caging products are listed below. Be sure to read my Jumping Spider Care Sheet which covers everything from purchasing, to unboxing to care through the life cycle.     View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Peter Clausen (@bugsincyberspace)
